The chairman Board of Trustee (BoT) chairman, All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Chekwas Okorie has directed the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party to sanction Governor Chukwuman Soludo of Anambra State, and his loyalists over alleged anti-party activities.
Okorie who issued the directive at a Media briefing in Abuja on Wednesday, accused Soludo of working against the interest of the party, warning that ‘nobody born of a woman will be allowed to destroy the party.
He also alleged that the move became necessary after all entreaties to Governor of the ruling party in Anambra State to order failed after the unambiguous and decisive judgement of the Supreme Court affirmed Chief Edozien Njoku as the national Chairman of APGA.
Okorie recalled that “Inspite the entreaties to Governor Soludo to give peace a chance, allow APGA live out it’s full potentials and promises, he (Soludo) remains recalcitrance”.
“On behalf of the Board of Trustee of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, I advice the National Working Committee to activate without delay the party’s Disciplinary mechanism. I strongly advice that the party’s Disciplinary mechanism must include, but not limited to Professor Chukwuman Soludo”, he said.
The BoT chairman of APGA, insisted that political parties supremacy all over the world must be sustained and maintained.
