The State Working Committee (SWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has passed an implicit confidence vote in the State Chairman, Jarrett Tenebe and State party Secretary, Lawrence Okah, ahead of the September 21st 2024 governorship election in the State.
The party’s Publicity Secretary of the party, Prince Peter Uwadiae Igbinigie, conveyed the decision of the party Monday in a statement, after members reviewed the strategy to wrestle power from the ruling People Democratic Party (PDP).
“In the spirit of the eulogies and encomium from members; on the Chairman and Secretary, a vote of implicit confidence was then passed in our tireless State Chairman, Emperor Jarret Tenebe and State Secretary Engr. Lawrence Osarobo Okah for this wonderful works done thus far.
“They were urged to continue to demonstrate these leadership qualities, which have brought an enviable face to the party in the State.
“The Chairman while responding, thanked members of the working Committee and sued for the sustenance of this unity, as there is still a lot to be done to ensure this much awaited victory.”
