Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu will embark on a trip to France on Monday, August 19, 2024 after a French Court had ordered the seizure of three presidential Jets until the payment of $74.5m awarded to Zhongshan.
TheNewspad reports that the ongoing dispute over alleged contract violation involves the Federal Government, the Ogun State Government and a Chinese firm, Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Company Limited.
Special Adviser to the President, Mr Ajuri Ngelale said on Sunday in a statement that Tinubu will be departing from Abuja, the nation’s Capital.
But the statement which did not disclose Tinubu’s mission, said
President will return to Nigeria “after his brief work stay in France”.
