Governor Similanayi Fubara of River State
has admitted that Nigerians are going through trying times amid nationwide #End BadGovernance protests by Nigeria citizens across the federation.
He said this on Saturday at the funeral of the mother of Local Government Area Caretaker Committee chairman in Khana Local Government Area of the State where he appealed to citizens to unite.
Fubara who sued for patience by Nigerians because the Country is at the point of that breakthroughs, predicted tha the nation will be great despite the ongoing nationwide protests that he claim will end soonest.
“We are in trying times. But, we need to work together to make sure that Nigeria and Rivers State our dreams.
“Please, everybody should learn to be patient and peaceful. Things get dark before it gets better. We are at the point of that breakthroughs.
“When I say envy of a Country, I mean if we pass through this stage, Nigeria will become better”, Governor Fubara said.
The Governor assured residents of the State and Nigerians better days ahead, noting that he refuse to distracted despite daunting economic challenges confronting the nation.
The Governor has survived several impeachment moves by the factional Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mr Martins Amaewhule in connection with a disagreement between him and his predecessor, the FCT Minister, Mr Nyesom Wike over the battle for soul of Rivers.
