Zacchaeus Adangor AG resigns after rejecting redeployment

The Attorney General of Rivers State, Zacchaeus Adangor on Wednesday resigned from Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s cabinet.

Adangor who is the Minister of Federal Capital Territory allies, Nyesom Wike’s ally, is seen in a bid to consolidate his political relevance.

He dumped the cabinet barely 24 hours after he rejected his redeployment to the State Ministry of Special Duties by the Governor on Tuesday.

Adangor, is among the loyalists of Wike who has been having a running battle with his successor over the soul of Rivers politics.
