Census: Soludo sends message to Anambra people at home, diaspora

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has appealed to indigenes of the State and diaspora to participate the national population Census.

The rescheduled exercise is billed for May 2023 towards enhancing data gathering for economic planning.

He said this at the flag-off of road projects including Ekwulobia flyover bridge, adjoining roads, a modern bus terminal, security building and fire and fuel stations.

The State governor said Ekwulobia is the Capital of the Old Aguata Union and for that reason development will start in the city, as well as other towns that include Oko, Umunze, Nawfija, Ufuma, Ezira, Enugu Umuonya, etc.

He appealed to Anambra electorate come out en mass on Saturday March 18, 2023 and assured that the projects would be completed in 18 months time. 

Earlier, the Commissioner for Works, Mr Ifeanyi Okomma, explained that the proposed flyover from Nanka to Uga will be 300 meters long and 5.4 meters tall.
