Police authorities have ordered probe into the attack on former Attorney-General of the federation, Abubakar Malami’s convoy by suspected thugs on Monday in Kebbi State.
The incident happened while Malami was on a condolence visit to bereaved families in Birnin Kebbi, the State Capital when hoodlums unleashed mayhem on his convoy.
About 10 vehicles including a Coaster bus, were touched while an unspecified number of persons got injured, multiple reports say.
Malami who is speculated to be one of the leaders of Africa Democratic Party, ADC in Kebbi State, served as Attorney-General of the federation during the tenure of the late former President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.
