An Assistant Superintendent of police, ASP Agabe Kaborlo, has emerged as the new spokesperson of the Nigeria police Command in Rivers State, marking a new beginning.
Her outgoing predecessor, CSP Grace Iringe-Koko, conveyed the approval of ASP Kaborlo’s by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, in a statement late Friday.
ASP Agabe Blessing Kaborlo, an indigene of Rivers State, from Ogoni in Tai Local Government Area, until her recent appointment, she served as the Second-in-Command in the Police Public Relations Office, Rivers State Command.
The new police image maker, was commissioned into the Nigeria Police Force as an Assistant Superintendent of Police in 2023.
This followed the successful completion of a rigorous five-year training programme at the Police Academy, where she obtained a Bachelor of Laws, LLB.
She also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from Rivers State University, according to the statement which also revealed that ASP Kaborlo, attended several specialized professional courses, including:b• Combat Operations and Counter-Terrorism Course at the Police Mobile Force Training School, Ende Hills, Nasarawa State in course of her training.
The police spokesperson had previously served as the Nigeria Police Force in various capacities with commendable professionalism, discipline, and dedication.
