The federal government has appointed Professor Peter Olamakinde Olapegba as the new Vice Chancellor of University of Ibadan in Oyo State.
The Governing Council of the institution said this on Wednesday in a statement ahead of other contestants who involved in the screening.
Olapegba, a professor in the Department of Psychology of the institution’s Faculty of the Social Sciences emerged the 14th Vice Chancellor in a keenly contested race.
The new Vice Chancellor, will be among the youngest to serve in the position in the federal government owned institution.
