A video circulating on social media showing a man identified only as Blessing in a verbal attack on a Pastor over a secret car donation by his wife, Oghenevwede to the church as a “seed offering” without his consent in Sapele, Delta State, has taken a dramatic twist.
In the video, the visibly upset man who works in the oil rig sector, is seen demanding the return of the vehicle and its keys while confronting the Pastor who has suddenly become internet sensation.
Blessing who recently returned from Indian, alleged that he stopped attending the church after becoming uncomfortable with repeated requests for money from worshippers.
He said he later bought a car for his wife because he admired women who drove, but was shocked when the vehicle disappeared from his premises.
According to him, his wife told him she had donated the car to the church after the pastor encouraged her to sow it as a seed to God.
Responding to the allegation, the pastor said he had prayed for the family and that the woman voluntarily donated the vehicle during a testimony service after believing her prayers had been answered.
People who gathered at the scene were seen attempting to mediate the dispute, with some reportedly urging the man to accept his wife’s decision.
The intervention of another Pastor identified as Michael who collected the car keys and papers and officially handed back to Oghenevwede, who was thereafter issued a stern warning by worshippers to stop worshipping in the church in Sapele.
