Tragedy struck when a commercial motorcycle rider along with his passenger were reportedly crushed to death by an unidentified truck driver in Edo State.
The incident occurred under the Idogbo bridge in the early hours of Wednesday, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area.
Witnesses blamed the fatal crash on break failure of the articulated truck, which rammed over the motorcycle rider and his passenger, who both took their last breath immediately.
It was gathered that break failure made the driver to crash into another vehicle in front of him after he lost control of his vehicle.
The truck driver however escaped jungle justice when angry youths stormed the scene and found lifeless bodies of the accident victims.
Reactions have trailed the now trending grisly video of the accident, posted a Facebook user who claimed to have witnessed the incident.
Residents of the area and other road users, wailed uncontrollably over the accident, after a heavy downpour the previous day in the area.
Police personnel at Idogbo police Division have evacuated bodies of accident victims, while the truck and the mini bus vehicle have been impounded.
