Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has issued Certificates of recognition to six traditional leaders he considered as outstanding in the State.
The recognized traditional leaders (Igwes) are: HRH Igwe Hon. Justice Samuel Nwachukwu Okoye (Rtd) – Ezechukwuchiba I of Azigbo, HRH Igwe Clement Nchetaka Onwuka – Eze-Ohazurume I of Isulo and HRH Igwe Uche Sunday Okonkwo – Okpaligwe Amawbia.
The Governor also recognized HRH Igwe Benson Chinedu Madubuko – Ese Chinechendo I of Adazi-Ani, HRH Igwe Ejike Ugoagbala – Ezenri XXII of Ora-eri and HRH Igwe Sir Ben Chibuzor Okekeife – Igwe Ezediohanma of Ndiowu.
In a social media post accompanied with a video in his office in Awka, the State Capital, Governor Soludo, charged the newly leaders to “continue to play a vital role in shaping our great State”.
