A yet-to-be identified wheelchair-bound criminal suspect has been arrested by operatives of Amotekun for car theft in Akure, the Ondo State Capital.
Ayodeji Moradeyo in a Facebook user, said luck ran out of the suspect while attempting to tamper with the security device in the car.
Amotekun corps were said gave the suspect who had demobilized the security system in the vehicle, a hot chase and opened fire him,. prompting him to buckle.
The incident, which is being investigated by police authorities in the State, has raised serious questions amongst divided netizens who are calling for a thorough investigation into surge in cases of car thefts.
He should be dealt with decisively.
