A driver, Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, accused of
causing Anthony Joshua’s personal trainer, Latif Ayodele, and strength Coach, Sina Ghami’s deaths, has been remanded at a Nigerian Correctional Centre in Ogun State.

46-year-old driver, was charged at the Sagamu Magistrate Court on Friday, after a crash injured the boxer and killed two of his team members after the vehicle they were travelling in crashed into a stationary truck on a highway last Monday in Ogun State, near Lagos.
The former heavyweight champion was taken to hospital with injuries after the crash and was discharged on Wednesday, according to the multiple reports, confirmed by the spokesman of the Nigeria police Command in Ogun State, DSP Okuseyi Babaseyi.
Four charges were preferred against Mr Kayode, including causing death by dangerous driving, reckless and negligent driving, driving without due care, and driving without a valid driver’s licence, according to the Prosecution in court, which adjourned the case has been adjourned until 20 January, 2026.
