The Abia State governor, Alex Otti has unveiled a free eco-friendly electric shuttle bus for residents of the State during the Christmas celebration.
The initiative, which is seen as bold steps that align with global climate change and sustainability goals, will offer free bus ride to commuters plying major routes, including Aba–Ukwa West, Umuahia–Umunneochi, Umuahia–Ohafia, and Aba–Umuahia.
Director General, World Trade Organization, WTO, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala unveiled the service which is meant to transform public transportation landscape and connectivity in the State.
