Miss Omosivie Egbon, an SSS 1 student of University of Benin Consultancy School, Benin City has emerged the overall winner of the Senior schools category of the Nigeria Spelling Bee Competition held in Benin City.

Also, Master Atsegbua Osikhena Andrew, a JSS 2 student of Young Scholars Academy, Benin City emerged winner of the Jnr. category of the competition.

With the victory, the winners are to represent Edo State at the national level of the competition holding in Port-Harcourt from July 26 – 29, 2023.

Omosivie emerged winner after defeating 11 other contestants to qualify for the final round of the competition.
