Suspected political thug, Musa Akayaba has been reportedly shot dead by military personnel during Saturday’s polls in Kogi State

Akayaba, was reportedly brought down while attempting to snatch the ballot boxes in Ayangba area of the State, amid pandemonium.

Recall that governor of the State, Yahaya Bello had given matching order to his political appointees to ensure total victory for the All Progressives Congress, APC or resign their appointments.

The embattled Governor vent his anger during a meeting convoked on Thursday at government house in Lokoja, the State Capital.

He said ” I dont want to know how you will win; either legitimate or illegitimate, the option is yours but make sure you bring the result here or you tender your resignation letter .

He was quoted to have instructed that they should match any security agencies that dare stop them from having their ways with any superior weapons if that will give them victory .

Most of the appointees are now running from pillars as election has become tough. 

As at the time of filling the report, the Zonal organizing secretary of Apc in north central, Mr. Ahmed Attah  has snatched the ballot box in Ayangba in Dekina 

The security operatives were said to be on his trail and that of Bola Tinubu/ Shettima Coordinator in Kogi East , Mr. Professor over alleged ballot box snatching.
