Citing over voting and electoral malpractices, the Election Petition Tribunal on Friday, sacked the governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke.

The split judgement of two judges against one ordered that Certificate of Return should be withdrawn from Adeleke and issued to Adegboyega Oyetola, Candidate of the All Progressives Congress.

The tribunal, chaired by Justice Tertse Kume, sacked Adeleke in some of the polling units in the State.

The judgement, sparked jubilation among supporters of Oyetola in court.
