West Africa stakeholders, players brainstorm on digital economy


Policy makers and stakeholders in the world of digital space in West African sub-region are set to brainstorm on the future of the digital economy.

Participants across the sub-region will converge on Abuja, Nigeria’s Capital from January 31 to 1st February, 2023, for the Conference, tagged, “West Africa’s digital economy for the Future”.

Reuben Muoka Director, Public Affairs Nigerian Communications Commission, said this in a statement on Monday night.

He said the event is being hosted by the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria, and supported by the World Bank.

Isa Pantami, Nigeria’s Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, as the keynote lecturer, according to Muoka,.while Mohammed Bello, Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), will welcome Ministers and top government officials from the subregion.
