Mr Vincent Ogbulafor, former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is dead.

According to a family source, politician who hails from Olokoro, in Umuahia South Local Government of Abia State, was confirmed dead on Thursday night.

Ogbulafor who was the pioneer Secretary of Nigeria’s main opposition party, passed at the age of 73 from an undisclosed ailment, had predicted that PDP will rule for 40 years.

But his prediction did not come to pass, following the defeat of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, Presidential Candidate of PDP by Muhammadu Buhari, All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate in 2015 general election.

Official announcement of Ogbulafor’s death, is being awaited by his family and the PDP.
