Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari says he has kept the service chiefs on their toes in curtailing rising security across the nation.

He gave the assurance in a condolence message to Alhaji Adamu Muazu, former PDP National Chairman whose brother and sister were killed by terrorists.
Garba Shehu, presidential spokesman on Sunday, stated that he was shocked and outraged by the incident, praying God “to forgive the soul of the deceased and grant the family fortitude to overcome this double tragedy”.
According to him, “This double tragedy is particularly moving. I know it’s hard to cope with the weight of this tragedy in your family. I feel your pain.
“Let me use this opportunity to re-assure you and other Nigerians currently facing threats from the atrocities of the bandits that I will leave no stone unturned to ensure these enemies of humanity are finally crushed and decisively defeated”, he assured.
Recall that terrorists who were responsible for abducted over 60 passengers of the Abuja Kaduna train on March, have threatened to abduct and kill Buhari and Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai.
But Nigeria’s defence headquarters (DHQ) has kept mum.
