The Zamfara State governor, Bello Matawalle has approved the suspension of Emir of Birnin ‘Yandoto of Tsafe Local Government Area, Aliyu Marafa.

The traditional ruler was sanctioned for conferring a chieftaincy title to a repentant “notorious bandit leader”.

Kabiru Sardauna, Secretary to the State Government announced the suspension in a statement on Sunday.
