The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the 2023 general elections, Bola Tinubu, has agreed to pick a Muslim Vice-Presidential Candidate barring any unforseen developments.

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State disclosed this at a meeting with Muslims Clerics who converged on Kano State Government House on Friday as part of activities to mark Eid El Kabir.

He urged the Clerics to member Tinubu who is a Muslim and Yusuf Gawuna, the State deputy governor, Yusuf Gawuna who is also the APC governorship Candidate in the State.

According to Ganduje, “We have advised him to pick a Muslim deputy and he has agreed,” Mr Ganduje said, Tinubu would restore trust to Nigerians.

“A Muslim-Muslim ticket is a reality. It is not something new in Nigeria, Ganduje said despite initial opposition about Muslim-Muslim ticket.
