An unspecified number of Nigerians including the wife of a military officer have been kidnapped in Kaduna State.

The hostages were abducted by terrorists during an attack on Keke ‘A’ and Keke B areas of New Millennium City on Tuesday night in Chikun Council area of State.

DSP Muhammad Jalige, police spokesman who confirmed the incident, said operatives of Nigeria Police Command in Kaduna State received a distressed when the after the hoodlums struck.

Jalige stated that the personnel from the Millennium City Division were misled to another location by the direction of gunshots from the criminal gang, adding that police are on the trail of the hoodlums.
