Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested agent of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State governorship election.

The identity of the agent who was alleged to have been involved in Vote buying at Polling Units in Ola Oluwa Grammar School Ado Ekiti, the State Capital on Saturday morning.

A bag of cash was found with the suspect white ‘inducing voters’, according to witnesses.

He was thereafter taken into custody at the Grammar School on Ilawe Road, Ado Ekiti for further interrogation.

EFCC spokesman, Mr. Wilson Uwajaren is yet to respond to an inquiry by theNewspad.com

The Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) and the law Enforcement Agency had threatened to arrest and prosecute anyone who commits electoral offences during the election.
