Wike reappoints, swears-in Cabinet members who lost elections

Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike has began the process of reconstituting his Cabinet.

On Friday, Wike sworn-in four reappointed former Commissioners who resigned to contest 2023 primary election in Peoples Democratic party (PDP), but lost.

Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor, SAN emerged as the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, while Isaac Kamalu became the Commissioner of Finance in Rivers.

Others are Dr. George-Kelly, Commissioner for Works and Dakorinama Alabo who made head of the Bureau of Special Projects in the State.

The Governor congratulated the four Commissioners on their reappointment, charged them to be diligent, committed, loyal and work to improve our State.

He wrote: “Today (Friday), I started the process of reconstituting my cabinet with the swearing in of Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor, SAN as the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Isaac Kamalu as Commissioner for Finance and Dr. George-Kelly, Dakorinama Alabo as Commissioner for Works and head of the Bureau of Special Projects”.
