11 hostages that were kidnapped during Abuja-Kaduna fatal train attack have been freed after spending 65 days in captivity.

Six females and five males were among the passengers who were kidnapped on March 28 at Dutse forest in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna.

The hostages who had been flown to Abuja for undisclosed reasons, according to dependable sources.

The attack claimed the lives of eight people left 26 others injured while scores of passengers remain unaccounted.
