Senator Dino Melaye has advised delegates not to reject dollars from aspirants seeking elective offices in the laid up to political parties primaries and the 2023 general elections.

He predicted that there might be inducement of delegates during the conduct of Peoples Democratic party (PDP) primary election coming up soon.

Melaye who represented Kogi West Senatorial district at the 8th National Assembly, dropped the hint when PDP Presidential aspirant, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku met with Edo State delegates of the party in Benin City.

Melaye who hails from Ayetoro Gbede in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State, said, “They (aspirants) will give you dollar; collect it. But don’t allow ‘dolarization’ of your votes”.

He urged Nigerian to reject the All Progressives Congress in 2023, adding that “He (Atiku) did it before, but they stopped him”.

“Today (Friday), he is the most experienced politician in Africa. This man does not know religion.

“He (Atiku) is the only aspirant that has 11 million votes in his pockets…Comparing him with any other person is like comparing Eyimba Football Club with Arsenal Football Club”, he said.
