The leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu says enemies seeking information about their plans will be disappointed.
He spoke though his lead Counsel, Mr Ifeanyi Ejiofor who led a team of lawyers to his client in Department of the State Security Service (DSS) custody on Monday in Abuja.
The lead Counsel stated that visitors had fruitful and incisive interactions with Kanu ‘in accordance with the subsisting Court-Order’ fixed for May 18th of May 2022.
But, he insisted that details of their engagement with the IPOB leader may not be made public due to attempts by his enemies to obtain information on their plans.
According to Ejiofor, “Details of our other engagement with ONYENDU (Kanu) may not be made public because our adversaries are all over the place trying to sniff for information on our strategies, but we cannot avail them”.
The lead Counsel said Kanu thanked members and supporters of the group for their unflinching loyalty to their cause to get justice in court and sued for prayers for Kanu’s release.
“Your prayers are most compelling now, such devotion is not taken for granted.
“The next Court date is the 18th of May, 2022, keep it in your prayers and in your mind”, Ejiofor said.
Continuing, Ejiofor said, “The visit offered us the opportunity to review the level of the DSS compliance with the positive Court Orders with regards to the welfare of Onyendu.
“We had fruitful and quite incisive interactions impacting positively on all dimensions of Onyendu’s case, and he was adequately briefed on relevant matters of urgent importance which will remain private.
“He (Kanu) was very emphatic on being focused and never to derail.
“As usual, Onyendu expresses his profound gratitude to you all, UmuChineke for remaining strong in your solidarity, unshaken faith, and seemingly resolute”, he said.
