The Anambra State governor-elect, Charles Soludo may get his handover note from governor Willie Obiano on Tuesday February 8, 2022.

Soludo said he got the assurance from the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solomon Chukwulobelu last
week Friday.

The Governor-elect dropped the hint during the presentation of the transition Committee report on Saturday in Awka, the State Capital.

“Probably on Tuesday, we will have the handing over note”, based on “the discussion we had with the SSG on Friday” last week, he said.

Soludo commended the the transition Committee for their sacrifices and promised to reestablish the social contract with the governed.

He also revealed that his administration succeed in fulfilling his electoral promises, taxable Citizens in the State and diaspora must pay their taxes and towards the execution of projects.

“People must pay taxes inside and outside Anambra State. And the majority of those live outside Anambra. We must find means of paying their own fair share…
