Four persons have died in a head-on collision between Mercedes Benz and a Toyota Corrolla on Sunday night on the
Benin-Sapele road by at Uholor on the road by Benin-Warri bypass, near Delta State.

It was gathered that the four persons died immediately while one other who sustained injury was rushed to the hospital, according to Edo State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Henry Benamaisia.

He attributed the accident to over speeding on the part of the drivers, saying that four persons died while one other sustain injuries.

Benamaisia revealed that the vehicles burst into flame due to the impact of the accident on the vehicles.

The Sector Commander advised motorists to always maintain minimal speed so as to reduce the impact in case of any accident and be able to maneuver to safety.
