Troops of Sector 2 Joint Task Force(JTF) North East, codenamed Operation HADIN KAI(OPHK) have five Boko Haram and Islamic State of West Africa Province (SWAP) terrorists at Maina Hari Village in Biu town, Borno State on Saturday.

Brig.-General Onyema Nwachukwu, spokesman of the Nigerian Army disclosed this in a statement on Sunday.

He said the “criminal elements met their Waterloo, when the gallant troops of 231 Battalion and 331 Artillery Regiment swiftly routed them in a failed incursion in the locality, compelling others to withdraw in disarray”.
