Armed police operatives have arrested Mr. Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, the Chief of Staff to Imo former governor, Rochas Okorocha.

Nwosu was picked up during the outing Service of his mother, late Jemamah Nwosu on Sunday, after a sporadic gunshots by the security personnel.

Nwosu, is a son-in-law to Okorocha, a serving Senator in the 9th National Assembly, was allegedly forced into the boot of a waiting vehicle and drove off to an unknown destination, according to witnesses.

Michael Abattam, police Public Relations Officer in the State confirmed the report to reporters, but declined comments in the incident.
