The Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Mr. Clem Agba and the deputy governor of Edo State, Hon. Phillip Shaibu have signified their interest to attend the maiden edition of Oza Carnival in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State.

The event which billed for Monday December 27th, according to the project initiator, Deacon Festus Osagie Osaigbovo, would showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Benin people through discovery of raw talents in the music industry and sports.

The carnival would serve as an opportunity to bestow “Heroes Awards” to those who have contributed to the upliftment of the Community and the State at large, according to the initiator.

Osaigbovo also revealed that adequate security measures had been taken to safeguard tourists and fun seekers as part of measures to strengthen cohesion among residents and tourists.
