Bright Ebuka Obodo, the University of Benin (UNIBEN) Best Graduating student in Benin history for the 2018/2019 set.

Obodo who is of Igbo extraction, led the pack with cumulative gradient point average, CGPA of over 4.5 out of the possible five points from the Department of History, Faculty of Arts, University of Benin.

He was unveiled on Thursday at the 46th and 47th Convocation Lecture of the University in Benin City, Edo State.

A total of 8,996 students who have been found worthy in learning and character, will graduate in the 2018/2019 academic session while 8,521 students made the list of 2019/2020 graduands in the combined Convocation.

125 students bagged First Class honours in the 2018/2019 academic session while 157 graduands made First Class honours during the 2019/2020 academic year.
