The governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello has secured approval to spend the sum of N30 billion supplementary budget for 2021.

The approval was given by the State house of Assembly the plenary on Thursday.

This followed the clause-by-clause consideration by the Committee of supply, bringing the budget size for the year to over N160 billion.

Recall that the Governor had in August 2021 sent a letter requesting the Assembly to approve the supplementary budget.
