Former deputy President of Nigeria Senate, Ibrahim Mantu and a member of Trustee of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) is dead.
He died after a brief illness at the age of 74 on Tuesday morning and had been buried at the Gudu cemetery in Abuja in accordance with COVID-19 protocol.
Masked mourners with personal protective equipment (PPE), buried the Senator, was elected Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Plateau Central Constituency on the platform of the PDP in 1999 and was appointed Deputy Senate President in 2000.
Recall that daughter, Orobosa-Lucky Igbinedion, married Ibrahim Mantu’s son, Umar in September 2016.
