Members and supporters of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, heaved sighs of relief on Monday, following the permission granted Nnamdi Kanu to meet his family.
Recall that DSS had alleged hinged their failure to produce Kanu during his last court hearing before Justice Binta Nyako Federal High Court, Abuja Division.
Kanu, is the leader of IPOB met with his brother, Emmanuel Kanu in company of his legal team at the DSS headquarters in Abuja, according to a series of tweets by his lead Counsel, Ifeanyi Ejiofor.
Ejiofor tweeted that Kanu, was in good spirit and urged prayers for the separatist leader who has being in DSS custody after he was rearrested and repatriated from an undisclosed African Country about two months ago.
Ejiofor wrote: “We just concluded today’s routine visit on a very sound note. What made today’s visit unique is that today marks it the first Day Our Client -Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is setting his eyes on his sibling.
“In my company during the Family’s maiden visit to Our Client. Our Client is Prince Emmanuel Kanu (Fine Boy), the Representative of Our Client’s family.
“Our Client- Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is very strong in spirit.
“You will hear the rest from Prince Emmanuel Kanu”, he said.
