Protest over Sowore’s arrest at venue of Nnamdi Kanu’s trial

Some Nigerians have began a peaceful protest over the arrest of Mr. Omoyele Sowore, human rights activist by police operatives on Monday in Abuja.

He was whisked away by armed policemen at the Federal High Court, Abuja where the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu was tried.

The 2019 Presidential Candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) tweeted at about 11:09 am that he was “just Arrested by @PoliceNG at the Federal High Court in Abuja!”.

His arrest has triggered a flurry of comments by Nigerians on social media Community.
