A Nigerian military aircraft has reportedly make an emergency landing in Kaduna State.
A source said the fighter jet left Yola, the Adamawa Capital for anti banditry operations in Kaduna.
The source also said rescue operation for the air crew whose whereabouts is uncertain, is ongoing.
An official of the Nigerian Air Force said the spokesman, of Force, Air Commodore Edward Gabwet, will issue a Press statement when a preliminary investigation into the incident, is concluded.
The military has recorded a number of air tragedies this year, including the ill-fated crash that claimed the lives of serving Army Chief, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru and 10 other officers in May 2021.
