Imo govt targets Okorocha’s assets, amidst rumours of suspension


The Imo State government has sealed the premises of the Rochas Foundation College in Owerri in a renewed onslaught to cripple his business empire. The school, is owned by Rocha.

Checks by the revealed that Senator Rochas Okorocha has perfected plans to dump the All Progressives Congress, APC for Peoples Democratic party, PDP.

According to The Punch, the state government officials said the College was sealed as part of efforts to recover Imo state property allegedly “looted by Okorocha and his family members”.

Recall that in February 2021, Okorocha who is Senator in the 9th National Assembly was arrested by police for allegedly breaking into a government-sealed building in Owerri.

Okorocha served as Governor of the State between 2011 and 2019. He was however subsequently released.
