Zulum sanctions  French NGO for training armed group in hotel


Borno State government has banned a French humanitarian Organization for converting a hotel as a training ground of some persons on shooting on Saturday.

Residents near the hotel alerted security officials who brought the incident to the attention of the State governor, Babagana Umara Zulum who directed the immediate suspension of actors and International Governmental Organizations in the State.

Zulum appreciates the role of credible international Organizations (NGOs) which has been providing credible humanitarian interventions in different parts of Borno State.

He assured them of government continued cooperation and support while also upholding obedience to the prevailing laws, policies and roles guiding all activities guiding all actions across the State.
