Governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC are set to receive governor of State, Bello Matawalle into the party on Tuesday June 29, 2021.

This is coming barely one month after his counterpart in Cross River State, Mr. Ben Ayade joined APC behind Ebonyi State governor, Dave Umahi.

Matawalle’s spokesman, Mr. Ibrahim Dosara who was elected on the platform of Peoples Democratic party, PDP said on Sunday.

TheNewspad reports that Dosara, however did not disclose the venue of the meeting.

But Bashir Ahmad, a social media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, had published on Facebook that Mr Matawalle had joined the ruling party.
