“I am calling on the PDP leaders and the Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki to come to our aid in Egor Local Government.

“Today (Wednesday), we were invited to the party Secretariat to come and apply for those of us that are interested in the appointment. I went there with my Certificates, Curriculum Vitae and other documents. When we arrived the venue for screening, we meant a very rowdy session. Chief Olaye, members of his National Union of Road Transport Workers thugs were all there.

“So, I quietly stood by my car and began to wait for them to invite us into the Secretariat one by one. The next thing I saw Olaye with his younger brother, Osaretin and they started to beat me.

“They broke my head, they injured me and destroyed my car. They took my original Certificates away, my ATM card that was in my pocket and shoes. They also took my glasses and the money away. Is this is all I get for going to apply for appointment?”, he asked.
