The Peoples Democratic party (PDP) has demanded the immediate integration and harmonization of new members into the State executive Committee of the party.

Recall that there has been a discordant tunes over alleged plans to dissolve the State Executive Committee (SEC) elected executive Committee members of PDP, amid suspensions and counter suspensions.

The leaders said in the Communiqué that the initiative would help to achieve a peaceful coexistence of all members of PDP and development across the State.

The leaders, thereafter, passed a vote of confidence on the State governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki with his deputy, Mr. Philip Shaibu and the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Osarodion Ogie.

They also recommended disciplinary measures against recalcitrant members of the party for frustrating Senator Matthew Urhoghide-led PDP harmonization Committee in the Senatorial district.

“That it was unanimously agreed by Stakeholders that to achieve peaceful coexistence of all PDP members to pave way for the development of Edo State, the immediate harmonization or integration of new entrants into Executive Committee of the party at all levels in Edo State, is imperative and should commence without delay”.
