According to Shaibu who was the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) at the Festival, however revealed that the items had been recovered by local vigilante and other security agents.

“Your excellency, a total of 118 handsets were stolen in this Festival. But the good thing about it is that with the help of our gallant security men – the vigilante, we were able recover all. And the good thing today (May 2, 2021) is that we are going to reward them”.
