Mbaka hails APC summon to Pope over call for Buhari resignation

The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka, has dared the All Progressives Congress to report him to the Pope for seeking President Muhammadu Buhari resignation.

Mbaka said this in his sermon delivered during his Ministry’s Sunday Service of May 2, 2021.

Recall that the national Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Bulama, had threatened to report Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka to Pope Francis in Rome.

The party accused him of showing Christ-like behaviour, as Christ was subject to the government of the day and respected it.

But the Catholic Cleric said that the Pope will praise him when he (the Pope) hears that he (Mbaka) is criticising a bad government.

“The pope will clap for me if he hears that I am challenging a bad government in Nigeria. So, the APC can go ahead and report me to him.

“The Pope may even give me a position I may not want to handle,” he said.

On his request for contract from Presidency, Mbaka, admitted he met President Muhammadu Buhari for contracts with three persons.

But he said he never stood to gain anything personally from the contract, which he said was “contract of securing the Country.

“The President graciously allowed them in, and to everyone’s surprise, Father Mbaka asked for contracts as compensation for his support.”

But the Cleric clarified that it would be “stupid to be attacking a messenger of God,” stating the three persons he took to the presidency were white men who he didn’t know”.
