Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested a former Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha, for alleged money laundering.

Wilson Uwujaren, spokesman of the Commission who disclosed this on Tuesday.

“Okorocha has been arrested by our men”, he hinted.

Okorocha who is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is the Senator representing Imo West Senatorial district in the 9th National Assembly.

But Uwujaren, declined to comment on the reason for the arrest of the Senator who was nabbed in Abuja.

Recall that Okorocha was arrested by police in Imo State in February this year for allegedly unsealing Spring Palm Estate linked to his wife, Nkechi.
