Two undisclosed security details reportedly lost their lives when gunmen attached to a former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo on Wednesday in Anambra State.

Soludo, according to reports, was attacked in his home town at Isuofia in Aguata Local Government Area of the State.

It was gathered that the attack on Governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in the forthcoming election in the State, caused pandemonium in the area.

A security source said that Soludo is in a stable was unhurt while security has been beefed up in the area as at the time of filing this report.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had announced Saturday November 6, 2021 for the Governorship election in Anambra State.
