Unknown gunmen have reportedly attacked Benue State governor’s convoy, Samuel Ortom.

The incident occurred around Tyo Mu, Markurdi Gboko road in Makurdi Local Government Area of the State.

TheNewspad reports that the Governor was not hurt, but, the outlet is could not immediately confirm if there was any casualty in the attack.

Ortom had survived a fatal auto crash when a commercial vehicle rammed into his convoy in March 2017.
